Last week, Rose, Jen, and I spent the afternoon together at Fog Willow Pumpkin Patch - a "time together doing something fun" gift that we had given Jen for her birthday last month. We went on a Monday while the older boys were at school and had a delightful time with just the little ones.

| Checking their height on the "Welcome" sign. |
| The playground made of recycled stuff like this fun tire "horse" swing. |
| Petting and feeding rabbits, sheep, goats, and ponies |
| This goat up on the roof cracked me up. Probably tired of everyone petting him! |
| Darby the goat, Riley the bull, Abby the horse, and Nicolas the donkey's bottom. |
| No trip to the patch is complete without a hay ride |
| Hanging with Jen Jen and Darby on the hay ride |
| Enjoying yummy caramel apples with Abby at the end of our visit |
| Love these two little cuties! |
Side note: I was astounded at how much easier a trip like that is without Number 1 in tow.
Seriously. Love that boy, but take him on an outing and
he gets turbo-injected with excitement and energy. Twin boys? A
breeze. Spirited Child? Holy cow - that's tough stuff. So, again, it
was lovely to just have the little people who listened, followed
directions, and even let me chat with my friends!
