Family Trip to Goblin Gardens

At the beginning of the month, we took a family trip to Goblin Gardens, a pumpkin patch right here in West Natomas. We had a terrific day!

First stop was the corn maze.  These two hid and spooked the rest of us as we came around the corner.

Whee!  The slide is always more fun with a buddy.

"Anyone know how to get out of this hay maze?"

"Don't worry, Nic, I'll stand on TOP of the hay bales and figure out where the exit is."

For some reason, I followed everyone up to the top of the hay pyramid.  A little too steep and high for my liking but my four boys loved it.

The boys went barreling down the hay pyramid and into the field of pumpkins.  Steve took this picture of them from the top of the pyramid.  Clearly, they did not wait for us. (do they ever?!)

"I found the perfect pumpkin!"

"Nope, I did!"

"No way, mine's the best."  (Too bad we didn't buy any of them!  They were WAY too expensive so we got pumpkins at Home Depot instead.  The boys didn't mind at all.)

Last stop was the hay ride.  Super fun day with the fam.
